What We Do

Walk and Talk Discipleship

Every Saturday at 1pm, a few good members of MOR gather together at the “war room” (2901 North Park Way, San Diego 92104) to start gearing up for our endeavor to clean the streets of North Park.

We’re talking gloves, vests, trash pickers and a nice walk around a section of North park. Even though we are helping to clean up the community by picking up trash, the unique thing is that: this isn’t about the trash!

Men who have joined us have commented on how this experience is more of a 1:1 discipleship walk-and-talk, or just getting to know another brother in Christ as you partner up on the sidewalk with him. It’s a wonderful thing to be able to serve our community while connecting with another brother at the same time.

When Do We Meet

Every Saturday at 1:00pm

We will meet at 1pm to start gearing up and usually head out of the door at 1:30pm

What Area

North Park

We are located at 2901 North Park Way, San Diego CA 92104. This is a few minutes walk from the iconic “North Park” sign. The area we cover is roughly a half-mile circle from our meeting spot. This means cleaning up areas that are in neighborhoods, by schools, and along the sidewalks where businesses operate.

Who Can Come

Open to All People

This group is open to both men and women, and you do not need to already be a part of a study in order to participate. We welcome all first time guests and their friends, please come as you are and we’ll provide the equipment.
