History

Our Cornerstone

The cornerstone of Men of Resolution is Jesus Christ and Him alone. We can completely trust in Him. His earthly life as a man defines manhood for all men. He is the manliest of men and our perfect example and Savior. Christ was sinless, yet he did not cower in a room in order to keep safe. He was a dangerous and capable man. He was a threat to those that opposed justice, peace, and righteousness. Christ is the most important focus of this organization. It is His model of discipleship we follow, and His command we receive and live out. We acknowledge all authority in heaven and earth is His.

Our Calling

Making Disciples; One at a Time

We are to go, seeking out and finding men, wherever He places us and wherever we are. We are to make disciples, asking men to follow Jesus. We are to baptize them. We are to walk with them, teach them obedience to Christ, be a model for them, and be a shepherd to them. We are to live this lifestyle in confidence and faith that He is with us always, to the very end.

Our Values

Brotherhood & Unity

We accept this command as our Christ-following brothers before us who shared the message so we could believe. We unite with them as one (John 17:20-26). It is now our time to go and make disciples of men, and in doing so, we engage the culture, impacting this generation for Christ, and establishing a legacy of faithfulness to God for generations to come. We do all of these things as one brotherhood, taking care to ensure every man has what he needs for his mission.

Group Studies

Equipping men through studies

MOR uses a variety of formats to equip men to be leaders, mentors, and disciple makers. Our core is the weekly group studies. There are a variety of studies to choose from, with focuses on biblical manhood, prayer, and topical education. We also encourage participation in our outings and outreach programs, whether it’s cleaning up the community, attending a baptismal, graduation ceremonies or just meeting to hang out.
